Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

                                                          Jeremiah 29:12-13

Prayer is at the heart of the Christian life. Through prayer, we come before God with our needs. We share our heart with Him.

We seek his face

At the Refuge we focus daily on prayer, both individually and corporately. Prayer is often accompanied by fasting, not to demand God's attention, but to demand of ourselves that we give our attention to God.

Community Prayer Times
The Refuge is committed to praying over Rockport and our surrounding churches, cities, businesses, leaders, community workers, and counties.  We invite you to partner with us in prayer.

1st Saturday of each month
7 AM - 8 AM  At Gospel Mission

2nd, 3rd, and 4th Saturdays of each month
7AM - 8 AM  at the Refuge
Corporate Prayer Times
Praying as a body can be seen throughout scripture. We are called to unity as a church "that the world may know" Jesus. (John 17:23)
