In the past few years, the Refuge has sent teams of missionaries to Honduras to work with Casa Hogar, a local ministry that works primarily with children. These team trips are 8 days long with 6 ministry days. The focus is primarily on evangelism. We visit prisons and public schools, we participate in door-to-door evangelism, as well as work in the feeding centers with the parents and children. We also visit mountainous areas to minister to the poor and needy in hard-to-reach areas.
